2009 Labor Day Parade The Theme this year was Landing of The Apollo 40 years ago. Lahontan Valley Trail Riders received "Best Use Of  Theme"      What an Honor!

The purpose for which the Lahontan Valley Trail Riders Club was organized is to promote the spiritual, mental, and physical development; to provide educational opportunities; to promote friendship and fellowship; to encourage fair play; to promote, provide, and establish definite rules for contests; to provide educational clinics, social activities, physical activities, and opportunities; to promote good will and sportsmanship; to promote and encourage community involvement; to promote love and understanding for horses; and to keep alive the Tradition of the Nevada HORSEMEN AND WOMEN among today's amateur horsemen and women!
     If you have never been a member of our Club you cannot know how much we have to offer.  Not only do we have Trail Rides, but also we have Campouts, Christmas and Valentines Day Pot Luck Party Dinners, Breakfast Socials, Parades and Educational Clinics and we are working on  Play Day For Fun Events.
